Family owned and operated since 1955 Schmidty’s has been offering great food at reasonable prices, provide excellent service, in a friendly atmosphere.

In 1994, Arlene and Norbert passed the torch to their youngest son, Bob.  In 2000 the bar and dining rooms were expanded, the ceiling raised, and the interior and exterior were completely refurbished.  At that time the primary mission of Schmidty’s was reexamined. They decided to offer great food, provide excellent service in a friendly atmosphere. Some things you just don’t change.  A La Crosse Wisconsin tradition Schmidty’s… a place for family and friends.
