The Auxiliary , organized in 1919 to assist The American Legion, is much more than the name implies. The organization has achieved its own unique identity while working side-by-side with the veterans who belong to the American Legion. Like the Legion, the Auxiliary’s interests have broadened to encompass the entire community.

Patriotism is a personal commitment for American Legion Auxiliary members. We place great importance on community involvement and responsible citizenship.

The Onalaska American Legion Post 336 received a Charter from the American Legion Department of Wisconsin that established Onalaska American Legion Auxiliary Unit 336 on May 22, 1926 with 37 members signing the original Charter.

Planning an upcoming event?  The Onalaska Legion’s banquet hall and activity center can accommodate any event from 50 to 250 people.  We specialize in quality and personal service to ensure that  your experience with us is both enjoyable and memorable. And don’t forget about our dining hall and bar area.

As always we are open to the public and we look forward to seeing you!
